Privacy Policy

The Owner of this website, Mikvelk Publishing, LLC,  (henceforth MIKVELK) intends to make its website (the "Website") accessible to the general public. Randall Jarmon is both an employee of MIKVELK and one of its owners. For our business convenience, mikvelk.com and randalljarmon.com share the same pages and are both accessible by URL randalljarmon.com.

The Website is published on the Authors Guild's Sitebuilder platform for authors, which takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the Website, the users' information will be protected both online and off-line, using commercially reasonable precautions.

MIKVELK believes that privacy is important to the success and use of the Internet. This statement sets forth the Privacy Policy for the Website and describes what information is collected, how it is used and with whom it is shared.

The general public will have access to certain pages contained on the Website that contain general information about MIKVELK and its sole author, Randall Jarmon. The Website could collect personal information if a user signs up to receive MIKVELK's newsletter, which has not yet been initiated. In the event a user did sign up to receive a MIKVELK newsletter, the user's personal information would be stored securely on the Website's host server and would not be shared with any third parties. A MIKVELK newsletter, if begun, might operate as the Randall Jarmon newsletter.

What Personal Information Is Gathered

MIKVELK conducts no ecommerce on its website, and therefore does not collect the ordinary credit card information that would be involved in ecommerce.

MIKVELK also does not operate a blog, either in its own name or in Randall Jarmon's name, meaning MIKVELK does not capture discussion comments. Our intention is to avoid social media discussion entirely on this website and as much as we can on any social media sites, since MIKVELK sees such discussion as overly time consuming and since one cannot easily separate valid and useful comments from those that might be left by robots, spammers, and persons with malicious intent.

Eventually we plan to provide a contact form for persons to contact us, mainly for ordinary business purposes. At present, we don't know which contact software would be used but we envision something like email. We would keep messages long enough to respond to them as we deem appropriate to our business purposes. We might thereby accumulate from time to time the names, physical addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, etc. to respond to ad hoc matters. If we did ever have our own  newsletter, we might build a database of such information with whatever the necessary user safeguards required by Texas law at that time.

Automatically Collected Information

TMIKVELK may also automatically gather information including:

  1. The Internet domain from which you access the Website;
  2. The IP address from which you access the Website;
  3. The type of browser used to access the Website;
  4. The operating system used to access the Website;
  5. The date and time you access the Website;
  6. The URLs of the pages you visit; and
  7. If you visited the Website from a third-party site, the URL of that third-party site.

This information is only used to help the MIKVELK make the Website more useful to the general public. With this data, the Author learns about the number of visitors to the Website, the information that visitors are most interested in, and the types of technology visitors use.
